All Welcome!
Come and hear the first in our Albany Writers Read series, sponsored by the School of English and Media Studies on all three Massey campuses: Wellington, Palmerston North and Auckland.
Our first speaker, Anne Kennedy, is an award-winning poet, novelist and screenwriter. Her sequence Sing-song (AUP, 2003) was named Poetry Book of the Year at the 2004 Montana New Zealand Book Awards, and its successor The Time of the Giants (AUP, 2005) was shortlisted for the same award. She will read from and discuss her recent creative work, followed by a brief question and answer session.
Light refreshments will be provided by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
